A Response to Statement #2

The statement, "The ultimate goal in life is to live as pleasurably as possible," is a statement that I try to live by everyday. Recently I have experienced the death of my Grandmother. This has made me realize how short life really is. Why waste your valuable time worrying about getting the highest grades or making the most money if it makes you miserable along the way. You have a limited time on this planet so why not make the best of it? Obviously I still go to school and understand the importance of getting a good education, however, I do my best to not let school consume my life. You see people with a lot of money who are unhappy, but you also see the people who don't make as much money much happier people. This is because they people who don't make as much money do what they love for a job and aren't caught up in the rat race.
